MÜSİAD is a “BUSINESSMEN ASSOCIATION” founded in Istanbul on May 5, 1990 by sensitive business people who set out for a TURKEY that is effective in its region and respected in the world, where rights and law, justice and equality, peace and trust, prosperity and happiness are ensured, local and universal values that have become part of history and society are protected and observed.
It is a “DEVELOPMENT - COOPERATION - COLLABORATION PLATFORM” established with the aim of contributing to the social and cultural, political and economic, scientific and technological development of individuals and institutions, our country and society, our region and the world.
Since 1990, it is a strong “Civil Society Organization” that represents more than 60,000 businesses with more than 12,500 members in Turkey and abroad, provides employment for approximately 1,800,000 people, has 83 contact points in Turkey, provides services with a total of 164 points in 81 different countries abroad, and communicates the problems, opinions and suggestions of its members to public institutions and organizations on-site.
Our association, which has an ISO 9001 Quality Certificate, has established its corporate identity and has a professional service approach, provides services to its members in two parts: paid and free. Services such as foreign trips and training seminars are provided for a fee. MÜSİAD members benefit from periodical publications, information bank services, arbitration commission studies, services provided by committees and all association services within this scope free of charge. These services are generally as follows:
Publication Services: MÜSİAD, which is a business association, also tries to meet the needs of its members and the society through its publication activities. For this purpose, it provides services in digital environment through MÜSİAD’s website (www.musiad.org.tr) and social media accounts; and in printed form with Frame Magazine, various research reports, pocket booklets, catalogs and sector supplements.
a) Internet Publishing: MÜSİAD Headquarters announces its work to the public and members through its website (www.musiad.org.tr) and social media channels, which are the new communication tools of the digital world.
b) Printed Publications:
Frame Magazine: The magazine named “Frame”, which is one of its periodical publications, is published every two months and its content generally consists of certain file topics. Current, political, social, economic, cultural etc. The magazine, which deals with any subject as a file, is a strategic magazine that includes the views and thoughts of MÜSİAD on the subject it covers.
Book Publishing (Pocket Booklets, Research and Country Reports): Two important studies within the publication activities organized by the MÜSİAD Research and Publication Commission are research and country reports that analyze various subjects in depth, and pocket booklets that provide practical information to our members. There is no specific publication period. They are published when deemed necessary and decided by the Board of Directors. A total of 104 research reports, 100 Frame Magazines, and 38 pocket books have been published to date.
Services to Improve Market and Trade Volume:
International Commercial Business Meetings: From time to time, business delegations from different countries are hosted at MÜSİAD Headquarters and workshops are organized that provide the opportunity for business meetings with our members. Such meetings are open to all our members and are announced via fax, SMS or e-mail.
Foreign Trips and Foreign Market Information:
Foreign trips are organized to countries determined by the Board of Directors in order for members to get to know international markets and to create a basis for export. These trips are announced to members via fax, SMS, social media channels and the website. Members who wish can participate in foreign trips by paying the fee. In these trips, members' translation, guidance and accommodation services are organized by MUSIAD.
Research and inspection trips are organized to various sectoral fairs organized abroad. These trips are also announced to members in digital media. Members who wish can participate in the trips by paying the fee.
Requests for foreign trade and cooperation are evaluated and announced to the relevant members digitally.
Reports and statistics on target countries determined by the Board of Directors are prepared and presented to the members. Members are informed digitally.
Developments that are important for members in foreign markets, major fairs and commercial demands are announced digitally through the Foreign Relations Bulletin prepared at least once a month. The same information is available on the website and social media accounts; members are provided with digital access.
Foreign Trade Seminars are organized if necessary.
Members' requests for foreign market/product research are investigated to the extent possible and members are informed.
Meetings are organized with business delegations that come to our country from abroad and contact the association to enable members to hold business meetings. The place, time and areas of activity of these meetings are shared with members via fax, SMS and
