Zimem Book; Today's name is vereye book, which refers to the seller noting down the goods received and the buyer's future debt. Zimem Book, an elegant method of charity competition and cooperation where the receiving hand does not know the giving hand, is kept alive by MÜSİAD members. In the Ottoman Empire, wealthy people would buy zimem books by paying all the debts written in them. The Zimem Book application was restarted with the initiatives of MÜSİAD's 5th General President Nail Olpak and the favor of our members. The Zimem Book application, which started as a special application only for the month of Ramadan, was no longer special for a month with the call of MÜSİAD's 6th term General President Abdurrahman Kaan to our members and wealthy people to continue this valuable tradition throughout the 12 months of the year. One of the points that makes the application special is that, in fidelity to the hadith "the left hand will not see what the right hand gives", the debtor and the person paying the debt do not see or know each other. Today, contributing to the continuity of this beautiful tradition and being aware of the existing need not only makes us proud as MÜSİAD, but also strengthens our hope in terms of keeping the spirit of cooperation alive.
The credit book, as it is known today, refers to the seller noting down a purchased item and making the buyer payable in the future. The Zimem Book, an elegant method of competing and helping each other in charity, where the recipient does not know the giver, is kept alive by MÜSİAD members.
