April 23, 1920, is a blessed day that marked the rebirth of the Turkish Nation in history, when the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was inaugurated, proclaiming to the world that sovereignty belongs to the nation. This day, also dedicated to all the children of the world, is a breath of hope that instills in us once again in these challenging times, when we need to embrace and unite as a nation more than ever.

In these days when we are kept apart by social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will not celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day bitterly; we will not allow physical distance to distance us from our hearts, but will celebrate it with the same enthusiasm and love as if we were together.

As we raise our children, our most precious beings, with excitement and hope for the future, we, as adults, once again remember our responsibilities and, aware of our responsibilities, continue to work tirelessly to leave them a more just and beautiful world. As businesspeople, as children of this nation, we know we owe a debt of loyalty to the lands where we were raised. With this awareness, we also feel obliged to continue on our path by working harder, producing more, and instilling hope in our entire nation, especially those around us, during these challenging times. We always carry within us the excitement of 100 years ago and the hope of the future.

We believe that these days will pass, never forgetting for a moment that our ancestors, despite countless hardships and malicious intentions directed against us, defended these lands without losing hope. We believe that these days will pass, and that we will walk together into the future in days of prosperity. We know that we share this belief with all the wonderful people of our country and that we are not alone. With this inner peace, we work tirelessly and tirelessly, and we will continue to do so.

On this occasion, I wholeheartedly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day. I embrace our children, the key to our future, with love.
