This year's MÜSİAD EXPO 2020, held under the slogan "Global Trade is Here," hosted President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan today. President Erdoğan, who received detailed information about MÜSİAD EXPO, Turkey's first hybrid fair, underscored the fair's importance to the country's economy in his speech.

MÜSİAD EXPO, the International Economy, Finance, and Trade Summit organized biennially by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD), takes place in 10 halls and a 70,000-square-meter area at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.

President Erdoğan visited the fair, Turkey's first hybrid fair, and received information about the fair.

"We are determined to turn this period into an opportunity."

President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of the hybrid fair, held in compliance with the hygiene, mask, and social distancing rules, for the smooth operation of production, trade, exports, and employment. He emphasized their determination to utilize the conditions effectively and turn this period into an opportunity.

During his visit, Erdoğan said:

"Even among the world's most developed countries, Turkey has distinguished itself positively in the fight against the pandemic, demonstrating the strength of its infrastructure. By providing support to all segments of the economy and mobilizing resources, we are striving to keep production, exports, trade, and employment afloat. We will stand by everyone who embarks on this journey. In this regard, we are pleased that MÜSİAD is supporting its members in difficult situations through the Karz-ı Hasan fund it established."

Erdoğan emphasized that by mobilizing domestic and international entrepreneurs, they will ensure the acceleration of investments that will yield lasting results in production and employment. He said, "We are ready to walk this path together with everyone who believes in Türkiye's strength, potential, and future."

In his speech at MÜSİAD EXPO, Erdoğan informed us that they are making preparations to strengthen economic policies, raise the bar for democracy and freedoms, and ease the nation's daily lives.

Kaan: "We are participating in the mobilization you have launched with all our resources and strength."

MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan stated, "Even in these days when the pandemic is still active, the EXPO we organized to be the language and bridge of communication in trade and investment for our country's economy has not only been the most widely attended fair during the pandemic period this year, but has also solidified its strong brand image by achieving many firsts." He continued:

Our fair, which attracted booths from numerous countries, from Venezuela to Uzbekistan, Indonesia to Germany, saw strong demand from European, Asia-Pacific, Eurasian, African, and MENA countries. This encourages us to support our country's new investment policies. Nearly 15,000 visitors from 125 countries, along with millions of participants both physically and virtually, are visiting. This makes us happy that we, too, are contributing to the soup as we renew our national macro policies for production, trade, investment, and employment.

Kaan stated that they will do everything in their power to increase Turkey's production and industrialization power, especially investments, through both macropolicies and legal reforms, and to ensure its monetary power reaches its rightful level. He continued, "As MÜSİAD, we are fully involved in the mobilization you have launched, focusing on new stability, growth, and employment, with all our resources and strength."
