Abdurrahman Kaan, Chairman of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD), issued a message commemorating MÜSİAD's 30th anniversary.

Emphasizing unity, solidarity, and brotherhood in his message, Kaan stated the following:

Dear MÜSİAD Family,

30 years ago, twelve enthusiastic, diligent, faithful, and dedicated young people came together to work for the nation and the Ummah, driven by their love for their homeland. May God bless them all.

Since the days when MÜSİAD's foundations were laid, each member of this long-standing family has fulfilled their share of the duties and responsibilities, driven by their love for their homeland and the Ummah, and when the time came, they passed them on to the next generation.

But this family is so broad, so deeply rooted in a tradition that every service, every task, every responsibility was seen not as waiting for retirement, but as a changing of the flag. Praise be to God, who made us the soldiers of such a unique tradition, such a magnificent culture, such a sacred cause.

As we once recorded in history:

“We believe that society will be collectively enriched by generous and self-absorbed individuals who spend their wealth, words, and deeds wisely.” “We advocate that the effort to make each day better than the one before, in a balance of peace with God, with others, with the entire environment, and, of course, with ourselves, is a far more desirable goal.”

My brothers and sisters,

MÜSİAD was born, grew, and took root during this country's most challenging times, as a part of, a witness to, and even as a part of Turkey's history itself. It stood by its people through every sharp turn the country faced. Even during the most difficult trials, the MÜSİAD Family managed to remain united. That's why MÜSİAD has grown not just as a civil society organization; it's a school, a family, a tradition, and a love.

In spring, we stood in greeting for love.

Neither autumn nor winter ends our love.

Every May, hope blossoms in the same prayer.

Thirty springs are fresh for our love.

My brothers and sisters,

Whenever the shadow of sadness and pessimism fell upon us, we blossomed anew with the sun of friendship, unity, devotion, and brotherhood. There were times we suffered blows. There were times we were tested with the independent values ​​of our Islam, accompanied by allusions. We smiled at countless meaningless words and passed. For a cause embarked on the path of Truth, not through the test of servants, but through the test of the Lord, made us strong. Praise be to God who has brought us to this day. May God bless those who contributed…

Today, MÜSİAD has taken its rightful place in history as an organizational form and a unique structure, rarely seen worldwide, and the subject of books and theses. We have continued on our path, constantly refreshed and strengthened, in harmony with the spirit of the times and the chemistry of change, yet without compromising the values ​​that define us.

Today, MÜSİAD has been recognized as an effective advisory body, policy-making organization, data center, and capital platform, with its extensive presence, for all stakeholders at every level of society, both in our country and globally, across a wide spectrum, from politics and diplomacy to industrialists, academia, sports, and the arts, and from bureaucracy to professional managers. In our 30th year, praise be to God, who has enabled us to achieve this success.

MÜSİAD, with a tradition of working not only for the survival of national capital but also for the survival of our culture, values, and generations, has expanded its structure to this end, and stands as the most effective stakeholder of our state in the field.

We have proven this once again during these difficult times. We have united. In these difficult times, we have shared each other's troubles and helped each other. May God always keep His peace and His words among us. May God grant us a life as pure as water, a life that we surrender with pure hearts to its source.

May He grant us the grace to exist in unity and solidarity for many more 30 years. May He grant us the grace to pass this cause in its purest form to the generations to come and to let them live it with the same love.
