The "Turkish Economic Model, New Steps, and Inflation Measures Introductory Meeting" was held at the Istanbul Congress Center. Speaking at the meeting, which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended via teleconference, Treasury and Finance Minister Dr. Nureddin Nebati shared the details of the new economic support package.

MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı, commenting on the program afterward, said, "The implementation of a strict monitoring mechanism regarding the Credit Guarantee Fund package will ensure the proper use of the support provided. This support package, which will be a lifeline for our investors, will expand the opportunities available to our industrialists." President Asmalı made the following statement:

"The business community welcomes the new support and steps announced at the Introductory Meeting on the Turkish Economic Model, New Steps, and Inflation Measures, led by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and we believe that the decisions taken will inject dynamism into our economy.

We have frequently expressed our concerns about high inflation in our meetings. With the decisions taken today, we anticipate a 7 percent VAT reduction on basic food products. Our producers will reap the rewards of these steps.

At the same time, the 60 billion TL Credit Guarantee Fund support will positively impact our entrepreneurs and industrialists in terms of employment, production, and investment. In our reports, we shared our expectations regarding preventing the improper use of the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF).
