The Rapid Support Program for Micro and Small Enterprises, supported by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB), first announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is opening job opportunities for thousands of young people. The program will significantly contribute to businesses in the service and trade sectors and aims to provide job opportunities for 75,000 graduates. The Rapid Support Program for Micro and Small Enterprises envisions providing 100,000 TL in repayable support for each employee, free of interest and without collateral.

"We view the Rapid Support Program as an employment campaign."

Mahmut Asmalı, Chairman of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD), commented on the matter, emphasizing the importance of state support offered in line with the New Economic Model and stating that the employment campaign will provide job opportunities for thousands of young people.

"In our meetings last week, we stated that we have entered a period where the New Economic Model has instilled confidence in producers, industrialists, and investors. We have embarked on a brand new year in which our investors, producers, and industrialists will further increase their capacity utilization, increase domestic sales, strengthen export potential, accelerate new investments, and capitalize on innovative opportunities. In this period where new employment opportunities will come to the fore, we see the Rapid Support Program for Micro and Small Enterprises as an employment mobilization. The program will open job opportunities for 75,000 young people. In this context, businesses are also being provided significant convenience. We are talking about a figure of 100,000 TL for each employee, with interest-free repayments. This initiative, which will strengthen employment, combined with production and investment norms, will have a direct positive impact on the economy. As MÜSİAD, we will fulfill our responsibilities together with our members. We see 2022 as an important step towards achieving our 2023 goals. We exist to help our country achieve a strong future." We will continue to work with all our strength."

The deadline for applying for the program is March 31st.

The new phase of the Rapid Support Program for Micro and Small Enterprises targets the employment of young people, recent graduates, and women. Under the program, businesses can employ new personnel in designated sectors, born in 1981 or later, who have never worked before, or who have not worked for more than six months in the last three years.

Businesses that employ university graduates, as well as vocational or technical high school graduates, will be eligible for the support.

Businesses will be required to employ a new employee who meets the criteria for 12 months. Another important criterion for businesses wishing to benefit from the support is that they have maintained their average employment rate over the last 12 months.

Micro and small businesses that meet the eligibility criteria will receive 100,000 lira in repayable support for each employee they employ. Micro businesses can use this support for up to two employees, and small businesses can use this support for up to five employees. If the business owner or hired employee is female, the support limit will increase to 110,000 lira.

Applications for the program can be submitted until March 31st.
