With its prestigious and dignified history spanning 30 years, and with all the resources and activities it has offered to its nation and state since its founding, MÜSİAD has become one of the world's most respected and active business and capital platforms. Living up to its name, MÜSİAD maintains its independent identity, without any affiliation or connection with any organization, organization, or other group. It proudly represents Turkey globally through its free, autonomous, and original movement, and will continue to do so.

We declare that we do not accept and condemn under any circumstances the ugly, unfounded, and deliberate attacks against our institution, which have recently been initiated through the Young MÜSİAD organization and our MÜSİAD Bolu Branch, and which have subsequently been reflected as interventions into the internal structures of institutions we consider our companions, working for the interests and well-being of our country.

The matter alleged to have occurred at the MÜSİAD Bolu Branch is an isolated incident between its stakeholders, a matter entirely related to MÜSİAD's internal operations, and has no connection to the aforementioned organizational structure. Presenting this isolated incident, which was resolved without considering all stakeholders and in accordance with MÜSİAD's management and founding principles, to the public in a one-sided and biased manner is incompatible with either journalistic ethics or humanitarian ethical values.

After 30 years, MÜSİAD, with its renewed institutional structure and the projects it offers to its country, continues to strengthen and expand, embracing its respect, affection, and inclusive tolerance for its members, stakeholders, and every individual and institution in our country, regardless of religion, language, race, or opinion, whose concern is Turkey and working with this understanding, without losing its sense of virtue and mutual support. We consider these and similar attacks, faced by such an institution on its long journey, as deliberate acts targeting MÜSİAD's reputation in the public eye. MÜSİAD, with its commitment to its country, state, nation, and cause, is a solid, strong, and honorable companion to both its members and stakeholders, offering comprehensive services in 312 locations worldwide.

Since its founding, MÜSİAD has consistently stood by its state and nation through hopeful, resolute, and solution-oriented approaches throughout every challenging period our country has faced, despite all the conspiracy theories and disaster scenarios being written and played out. This has proven itself before history. The timing of these attacks on our institution, a long-established institution with its reputation and history, at a time when our country is resurrecting, leaving difficult times behind and preparing to write a brand new story in unity and solidarity, and especially during the times when MÜSİAD's support and efforts are becoming more visible, is significant.

We reiterate our motto, "The sun cannot be smeared with mud," and remind everyone that MÜSİAD has been subjected to such heinous attacks throughout its history, emerging from each attack with its head held high and honorable. We also announce that legal proceedings have been initiated against all parties involved in this matter. We also state that our headquarters and local organizational units will hold a press conference in Bolu on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, to share the entire process, including details and documentation, with the public.
