MÜSİAD WOMEN'S PRESIDENT ÖZ: NO SOLUTION excluding women from the conception and implementation stages will be successful.

Müge Öz, Chair of the Women's Committee of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD), issued a written statement on the occasion of International Working Women's Day on March 8th.

In her statement, Öz stated the following:

Women, who have played a significant role in the construction of all civilizations throughout human history, are the backbone of society. The sacred place of women in Anatolia is being strengthened today with the rights gained in modern society.

As women active in business life, we closely observe the challenges women face in business life and the obstacles they face in social functioning. By participating in the proposed real solutions to all these challenges, we are working together to strengthen our country's future. Because we know that no solution that excludes women from the conceptual and implementation stages can achieve success.

As women and men, we must act with a united force and contribute to the continuous progress of our country through unity and integrity.

To end the violence women face today in their professional, social, and family lives, we, as women, must participate in our state's policies and strive to be a part of the solution.

We support the steps taken by the political will with a resolute stance and believe that every segment of society must contribute to this process.

Aware of the immense responsibility we bear, we strive not only to advance our own businesses but also to constantly advance the place of women in the society we live in.

In our country, women make significant sacrifices and strive to be included in the workforce, both in rural and urban areas. While we defend the rights of women actively engaged in the workforce, we must also ensure the full rights, especially social security, of women who contribute to their families by working in agriculture or at home, and who, for various reasons, are not included in the workforce.

Furthermore, the unity and continuity of the family, the fundamental building block of society, are made possible through the invaluable efforts of women. Therefore, while strengthening women's place in society, work, and social life, efforts should also be undertaken to strengthen family ties, which are prone to erosion today.

We celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th for all our women, with the hope that this day will raise awareness of the achievement of all these achievements.
