MÜSİAD's Qatar Visit: Investment Trend to Continue
A MÜSİAD delegation, led by MÜSİAD Chairman Abdurrahman Kaan, visited Doha to discuss trade relations between the two countries. Chairman Kaan stated that relations will continue to strengthen and emphasized that the investment trend towards Türkiye will continue.
The Qatar business trip, chaired by Abdurrahman Kaan, Chairman of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD), and attended by Ahmet Şekerli, Chairman of the MÜSİAD Local Supreme Board, and Oktay Dede, Chairman of the MÜSİAD Production and Trade Planning Supreme Board, focused on developing trade relations between the two countries and on investment opportunities.
The MÜSİAD delegation first met with Mehmet Mustafa Göksu, Türkiye's Ambassador to Doha. Projects in production and trade were discussed, and investment opportunities for Qatari businesspeople in various sectors were evaluated.
Chairman Kaan also met with Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, President of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and his delegation, where he commented on the visits.

MÜSİAD Chairman Kaan noted that they operate in 95 countries abroad and emphasized the importance of commercial diplomacy. In his statement, Kaan stated that trade with MENA countries will continue to strengthen, emphasizing that the investment wind from the Gulf region towards Türkiye will continue.
Kaan stated the following in his statement:
"While we continue our commercial diplomacy activities with our domestic and international branches, we analyze the expectations of our industrialists and businesspeople using field data and contribute to the accurate identification of production and investment areas accordingly. We believe that with the visits we carried out today, we will further strengthen the field impact of Turkey-Qatar relations, which have gained significant momentum in the last 10 years. Both Qatari businesspeople and Turkish companies operating in the region are very pleased with the market between the two countries. Hopefully, we will exceed our previously stated $5 billion target in the coming period."
Chairman Kaan also touched on projects across various sectors implemented by MÜSİAD, stating that Türkiye is an attractive market for businesspeople in the region.
Kaan also highlighted the recently accelerated nationwide projects and emphasized that Anatolia, considered an intercontinental logistics hub, will become one of the most important centers of trade in the future.
