FOLLOW US PRESIDENT

The Commission of Sector Committees consists of 16 sector committees covering the entirety of our country’s business life, as well as the sector committee boards that include representatives from the business world. Its field of activity encompasses organizing fairs, forums, summits, and events on industry, economy, and future strategies; and carrying out all necessary efforts to implement any kind of cooperation that will generate added value for our country and the world through collaboration between industry, trade, and academia.


ACTIVITIES

Establishing sector committees in line with MÜSİAD’s current strategic plans and ensuring the active participation of business representatives.

Organizing fairs, events, and organizations to increase Turkey’s production capacity and to bring high-quality domestic products into international markets.

Enhancing our country’s and business community’s presence in global markets every two years through the MÜSİAD EXPO, thereby supporting the development of Turkey’s trade and the discovery of new markets.

Through the MÜSİAD Visionary Summit, informing businesspeople in Turkey and around the world about new trends, preparing them for the future, and helping them establish trust-based business connections.

Developing economic models and future trade relations in line with MÜSİAD’s mission, values, and vision.

With the Turkey Consultation Meetings (TÜİT), ensuring regional meetings, events, and cooperation activities that integrate the production and employment capacity of Anatolia with the global market through MÜSİAD’s branches and representatives across Turkey, while enabling exchange of knowledge.

Organizing all kinds of activities and meetings that will enhance cross-sectoral communication.

Organizing training and seminars to ensure capacity development of sector committees and their members.

Preparing reports on sectoral needs for relevant public institutions and ministries, and maintaining continuous communication.

Identifying sector-based needs and providing opinions on laws, regulations, and legislation.

Participating in, providing opinions to, and submitting proposals at relevant councils of the Presidency through the work of sector committees and working groups.

Developing, monitoring, and evaluating existing projects using healthy and up-to-date data.

Producing reports, books, and almanacs on sectors.

Maintaining continuous exchange of information and cooperation with civil society organizations both in Turkey and abroad regarding sectors.
