The Commission on Overseas Organization plans the establishment of new branches and representative offices in designated target countries and cities, the appointment of representatives, and the organizational structuring of existing offices, in order to expand MÜSİAD’s presence abroad. Through its overseas branches, it supports the Turkish Lobby and the global trade processes of MÜSİAD members.

The Commission carries out efforts to recruit new members from abroad and continues to strengthen institutional relations with international organizations and institutions.

It regularly organizes AGİK, AFGİK, ABGİK, ABDGİK, APGİK, and MENAGİK (General Administrative Board) Meetings.

The Commission represents MÜSİAD abroad in line with its mission and vision. It ensures the flow of information necessary to strengthen ties between Turkey and the host country in economic, political, social, and cultural matters. It also keeps track of foreign policy changes in the host countries that may affect Turkey through its organizations and informs its members accordingly. Furthermore, it undertakes preventive activities against negative perceptions of Turkey while reinforcing positive ones, and sets long-term objectives.

Main Objectives

To maintain communication with Turkish businesspeople operating abroad.

To develop the commercial relations of our members through our Overseas Branches, Representative Offices, Representatives, and partner institutions.

To contribute to the promotion of our organization and our country through overseas organizations and activities.

To establish alliances between our domestic and international members or partner institutions via international organizations, thus becoming an influential power in the global economy.

To strengthen members’ positions in their respective sectors and enhance MÜSİAD’s global power and visibility by increasing commercial/cultural interaction, particularly among international Muslim communities, and by developing local political and diplomatic relations.

To provide commercial convenience to our members through a broad network by increasing the number of Branches, Representatives, and Representative Offices within the scope of MÜSİAD’s Overseas Organization activities.

To bring together entrepreneurial businessmen devoted to the ideal of a just world in an innovative environment with a principled and value-based management approach; to transform this environment into the most prestigious economic interaction center of our region and the Islamic world; and thereby to become one of the influential actors of the global economy.

To set an exemplary structure through our overseas activities in line with our values, and to carry out efforts in accordance with the interests of our institution and our country.
