MÜSİAD Logistics Sector Board is a board representing all components of the logistics sector, including domestic and international transport (air, land, sea and railway), customs brokerage and warehousing. Within the Board, not only the sectors but also the relevant non-governmental organisations are represented. Mission of the Logistics Sector Board; To increase solidarity and coordination among businessmen in the logistics sector, To predict the future of our industry by following local and global supply chain movements and to provide recommendations for commercial success, To invest by domestic capital in strategic areas by ensuring the participation of our members and other stakeholders, To create employment and added value by ensuring effective and efficient use of infrastructure and geographical advantages. Vision of the Logistics Sector Board; To accelerate the solutions of the problems by gathering all stakeholders of the Logistics Sector (both our state institutions and the relevant sector representatives) around a table. In this way, to contribute to / benefit the domestic and foreign trade of our country.

1960 yılında Diyarbakır’da doğan Mehmet Metin Korkmaz, Batman Fen Lisesi mezunudur. Gümrük müşavirliği ve dış ticaret danışmanlığı alanlarında faaliyet gösteren Turuncu Gümrük Müşavirliği Ltd. Şti.’nin kurucusudur. Daha önce Lojistik Sektör Kurulu üyeliği ve başkan yardımcılığı görevlerini üstlenmiştir. 2025–2027 döneminde Lojistik Sektör Kurulu Başkanı olarak görev yapmaktadır.
